One step at a time
It’s been a wild + emotional ride this summer: laughs, tears, family, trips, weddings, funerals, celebrations….and trying my hardest to always put my best foot forward.
I thought these images from my last 2 weddings fit my new mantra perfectly. One step at a time, baby.

Eleanore + Leif

Thank you to my devoted blog followers (many of who I met last weekend) for checking in to see what’s new! Have I really not blogged in a month?!?!? I’ve got 3 more weddings coming up: Great Falls, Big Sky + Texas. Once I slow down, I will give my feet a rest and blog bunches + bunches of photos. xoxo

“Give me that kissy look…”
It’s OK if I look like an idiot. All that matters is that the bride + groom look fantastic!

More from Jane + Al’s wedding soon!

Loni + Josh: wedding
AHHHHH! I will be posting favorite photos from this wedding forever.
LOOOOVED EVERYTHING about this amazing day: the bride, the groom, their family + friends, unique details, live music, food + wine galore, dogs with yellow scarves, hay bales in the shape of wedding bells! Could it have been any more beautiful or whimsical? Yes. There was a lemonade stand in the back of a vintage Chevy. There was a canoe in the pond overflowing with flowers. There were antique salt + pepper shakers on each table. 400 guests, yet an intimate feel. I can’t stop thinking about this wedding and all of the love that went into it. I adore Loni + Josh…and their furry child Finn who tried his hardest to be in every single photo!

Finn was like “Where’s Waldo?” the whole wedding day.

It rained just about every day that week, except for the wedding day. Thank you for showing up glorious sun!

And you know we had to do a *day after* shoot! The location was PERFECT: an old theater that her parents used to own. THE BOMB.

And it’s become my most overused phrase, but I PROMISE: more photos are on the way!

Ashlee + Jared: 1.5 years later
Ashlee and I have been planning this *trash the dress* session ever since their wedding in October 2008. We’ve talked about everything: the shoes, the hair, the makeup, the accessories. Even after all of that planning, tons of details (like the locations and feathers) came together at the very last minute. Even a MAJOR detail like Ashlee’s wedding dress ribbon became a fiasco! We couldn’t find it anywhere and sent Jared home to search for it. Then all of a sudden, Ashlee remembered that it was in her car trunk. Yep, it’s been there since the wedding! HA! Sorry, Ashlee. I HAD to post this…

All right, time to get down to business!!!!!!!
Makeup: Jolie at The Living Room
Hair: Michelle at The Living Room
Wedding Dress: Headed to the dry cleaners
Ashlee’s fushia shoes: sole . mate
Hotness: Brought to you by Ashlee + Jared

While I was busy taking photos of the amazing Ashlee…

…Ali Winberry was taking these of Jared. HELLO!?!??!?!

The main reason why I adore this image is because Ashlee said Jared is always twisting his wedding ring like this.

Off to the country…

…and into a pond.

Another fabulous image by Ali!

Ali took this gorgeous one, too.

I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time. Pillow fight, feathers, bride + groom…

Never knew parts of Montana could look like a desert! Sexy!

Thank you Ashlee + Jared for asking me to take these photos, and most of all, TRUSTING me!
