It’s almost 2 a.m. and I’m still trying to tie up loose ends before I take off for a mini vacation.  Destination: Panama City, Florida.  Agenda: 5 days of quality time with my husband, eating seafood and laying on the beach reading a new book.  After my R&R, I’ll be back for another round of senior shoots and 3 more weddings!  I’m not bringing my camera to Florida (sad, huh?!?!?), but if I did I would want to shoot everything I see.  I’m strictly going to sleep, relax and then sleep some more!  That way I can come back recharged for the rest of the year.

…well, nobody yet.  All of you are sooooo close!  I even thought I had a winner but I looked back over her answers and she’s off by just ONE!  I’ve actually added more than 5 new images to my website, but you only have to list 5.  Here are some hints.  There are a few from Kendell + Bobby’s Wyoming wedding, a new senior and a couple of family photos.  Whoever emails/posts their correct answers first will now get a FREE session next year.

It’s been 12 days since my last post.  If you’ve been waiting for updates, new photos, or just anything…I am so sorry!  I’ve been doing nothing but shooting, shooting and shooting with barely any time in front of the computer.  Since my last post 12 days ago, I’ve had 11 shoots and a FABULOUS wedding in Lewistown.  I’m still not sure sure how I can even see straight!  Once I get caught up with everything, I’ll be posting photos like a wild woman!

In the midst of all of the weddings and senior shoots, I also have a couple of commercial wall art projects that I’m wrapping up this month.  Here’s a quick look at my train project.  It’s still in the works, but I think I’m on the right track.  Ha ha ha!  Get it?!?!  Ha ha!  Oh goodness…

My goal tonight: SLEEP.

I think this one with the flower is my favorite.  What do you think?  I’m trying to finalize the collage and a stand alone image, so I’d LOVE your feedback!

This time, the destination is Sheridan, Wyoming for Kendell + Bobby’s wedding!

Here’s the interesting thing behind their photo shoot last summer.  It happened a handful of weeks before they got engaged.  Kendell helped me out all summer and I wanted to show her just how much I appreciated it, so I told them I wanted to do a photo shoot for them.  During the photo session, I remember thinking to myself…”Man, this feels like I’m doing their engagement photos.  I mean, really…this couple NEEDS to get married.”  And here it is, exactly one year later and I’ll be shooting their wedding photos!  KENDELL + BOBBY: I know you’re not reading my blog T-minus 2 days until the big day…but I still want to give you a shout out!  Love you guys and see you soon!!!

I decided that it was time to put my website through a major makeover…considering I haven’t updated it since I launched my first website 2 years ago!

And call me sentimental, but I got all teary eyed when I was looking at all of the photos I’ve taken over the last 3 years.  I am blown away by all of the incredibly awesome people I’ve met.  Clients who I now consider friends.  The weddings, births, graduations and family reunions.  I’m truly humbled by it all!  I will never be able to properly thank each and every person who’s trusted me with my camera.  I hope all of you know just how much it means to me and how much you’ve changed my life.  THANK YOU!

P.S. Keep checking the website now & then.  This time, I’ll be much better about updating it!
